KSENIA PIRVITS

She was born into a family of hereditary architects and historians in St. Petersburg.
Since childhood, she has been interested in art.

In 2010, she submitted her work to the competition for a grant to work at the historical production of Moravian Pottery and Tileworks in the USA and won.

She studied the entire cycle of handmade tile production in Doylestown, Philadelphia.

Since 2011, he has his own workshop in St. Petersburg.

It has its own collection of tiles and interior works, as well as works made in collaboration with other designers, according to their sketches.
Ksenia likes to experiment in different techniques, but in the end, all ceramics undergo high firing for maximum durability and the possibility of use in any conditions.

The author of articles, as well as a respondent in the newspapers The Intelligencer, Turnkey and Business Petersburg.

Ksenia is a researcher of historical ceramics and an annual guest lecturer at the International Conference of Architectural Ceramics.

In 2019, she won the Golden Trezzini Competition in St. Petersburg, and in 2020 she received a medal at the Gardens and People exhibition in Moscow.

Member of the International Union of Artists and the Organization for the Preservation of Historical Tiles.
